Dr. Kour is a graduate of the Acharaya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital in India where she received her Medical Degree. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at The Icahn School of Medicine – Mount Sinai in the Bronx where she also served as Chief Resident, and completed her Endocrinology Fellowship from Westchester Medical Center University Hospital, New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Kour is Triple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology/ Metabolism, and Obesity Medicine. She has extensive experience in hospital and clinic settings and takes a compassionate approach to patient care to successfully diagnose and treat their conditions. Dr. Kour has special interests in Thyroid, Pituitary conditions, bone health and interpreting DXA (bone density scans), and is trained in Thyroid Ultrasound and Biopsies. She also has expertise in obesity management – with nutrition support and weight loss medications. In addition to English, Dr. Kour speaks Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. She is a member of The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, The Endocrine Society and The Association of American Medical Colleges.
