Dr. Michael Khalil is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician and fellowship-trained Sports Medicine specialist dedicated to helping patients recover from injury, manage pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. He has advanced training in non-surgical orthopedic care, with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries, joint and nerve conditions, and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Dr. Khalil earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship at SUNY Downstate, gaining hands-on experience treating athletes at all levels. He has served as a team physician for local high schools, colleges, and major athletic events, including the New York City Marathon.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Khalil has taught medical students and residents in musculoskeletal medicine and contributed to research and quality improvement initiatives. He offers a range of treatments, including fluoroscopically guided spinal injections, nerve blocks, viscosupplementation, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and other non-surgical treatments designed to relieve pain and restore function.

Dr. Khalil speaks English and Arabic and takes a personalized, evidence-based approach to helping each patient achieve their goals and return to an active lifestyle.
