Dr. Michael Khalil is a fellowship-trained specialist in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), dedicated to helping patients recover from injury, manage pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. He has advanced training in non-surgical orthopedic care, with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries, joint and nerve conditions, and ultrasound-guided procedures.  Dr. Khalil earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship at SUNY Downstate, gaining hands-on experience treating athletes at all levels. He has served as a team physician for local high schools, colleges, and major athletic events including the NYC Marathon.  In addition to patient care, Dr. Khalil has taught medical students and residents in musculoskeletal medicine and contributed to research and quality improvement initiatives. He offers a range of treatments including fluoroscopic spinal injections, nerve blocks, Visco supplementation, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. Dr. Khalil speaks English and Arabic and takes a personalized, evidence-based approach to helping each patient reach their goals.
