Alicia Carti is a board certified adult primary and acute care nurse practitioner. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Alicia has developed exceptional skill as a gastroenterology nurse practitioner since joining Bergen Medical Associates. Prior to this, she worked in primary care medicine and was a nurse practitioner and diabetes educator for a NJ endocrinology group. Alicia’s approach and style of practice is to educate her patients and manage their care while involving them in decision making for their disease management and prevention.
