Dr. Sandeep Kour earned her medical degree from Acharaya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital in India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Bronx, where she also served as Chief Resident, and completed her Endocrinology Fellowship at Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College. Triple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology/Metabolism, and Obesity Medicine, Dr. Kour has broad experience in both hospital and outpatient settings. She is known for her compassionate, individualized approach to care. Her clinical interests include thyroid and pituitary disorders, bone health (including DXA scan interpretation), and thyroid ultrasound and biopsy. She also specializes in menopause hormone therapy, postmenopausal hormone replacement, and obesity management through nutrition and weight-loss medications. Dr. Kour speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, and is a member of The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, The Endocrine Society, and The Association of American Medical Colleges.
