Dr. Bassan is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician who is fellowship trained in sports medicine with special interests in wellness and weight management. He is a graduate of Nova Southwestern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his Residency in Family Medicine at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, NY, and his fellowship in Sports Medicine from North Shore – LIJ Plainview Hospital. He promotes physical activity and a healthy lifestyle to optimize wellness and achieve personal fitness and weight goals. Dr. Bassan employs many innovative and cutting edge non-surgical approaches and treatments to getting patients back to their activities in a safe and timely manner.
