Dr. Koo completed both his M.D. and Internal Medicine residency at the NYU School of Medicine and completed his Gastroenterology training at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Dr. Koo was also a post-doctoral fellow in the study of various liver diseases at the University of Washington. He treats all aspects of gastrointestinal conditions and has special interests in the management of inflammatory bowel disease and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Koo is also trained in biliary endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and endosonography. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
